WIC or treat?

The Jackson-madison county regional health department will host “WIC or treat” Friday, Oct. 29, 2020 at the WIC center.

WIC is a program for women, infants, and children 5 and under.

Participants of the program can bring their children for drive-through curbside trick-or-treating at the WIC center on 589 east college street in Jackson.

“We just want to give families an opportunity to come and get some healthy snacks and also some unhealthy snacks for their kids. We’re still in the covid-19 world where not everyone may feel safe taking their kids trick or treating so we’re providing this drive-through, curbside trick or treating. It’s a safe way to come and get your kids some candy,” Mallory Cooke says.

The drive-through trick or treat will be Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
