WAITR Food Delivery App Expansion

WAITR- a food delivery service is taking the world by storm. As they continue to expand to multiple towns in underserviced communities around Madison County

Anissa Underwood, Assistant Marketing Manager for WAITR states, “WAITRS appeal across Tennessee has triggered us to open 70 new locations in launch this year alone. From Jackson we opened up in Humboldt, Milan, Henderson, and Paris, now we’ve just launched to Lexington.”

Though the COVID 19 pandemic has impacted many businesses negatively this food delivery service continues to expand. Market coordinator of Henderson County had this to say about COVIDS impact on business.

“Our business has increased. There is a lot of people who are wanting to partner with us.”

She goes on to explain safety precautions they are taking to keep their drivers and customers safe.

“The business is extremely excited to tap into markets not yet reached by other food delivery services. A lot of people in the rural areas weren’t able to get deliveries before.”
