United Way of West Tennessee set to host agency training for area non-profits

JACKSON, TN (WNBJ) - The United Way of West Tennessee will be hosting a virtual agency training for non-profit organizations in the area on January 10th, 11th, and 13th.

The training session is a way for non-profits to learn more about United Way, learn how a partnership would work and learn how to fill out an application.

The President and CEO of United Way of West Tennessee explains how valuable those partnerships are to the community.

“It allows them to be part of a network of various non-profit agencies who are doing all types of work. They help to better coordinate that service and make sure we are serving people in our community more effectively,” said Matthew Marshall, the President and CEO at United Way of West Tennessee.

This training is required to become and to maintain partner-agency status with United Way. Non-profits choosen will receive grant funding through United Way.
