The city of Jackson and west Tennessee mourns after CEO of the well-known Brooks Shaw Old Country Store, Clark Shaw, recently passed away due to covid-19 complications.
After speaking with many people walking in and out of the restaurant today they say they remember Clark as a person that always had encouraging words and wisdom.
Shaw passed on November 25th in Jackson at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital after being contracting COVID-19 earlier in the month.
The family kept the community updated on how Shaw was doing since he was taken to the hospital.
After they posted about his passing they received thousands of comments from patrons and people in the community also mourning the loss of Clark Shaw.
The family is holding a visitation on Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM at the providence housie in the Casey Jones Village.
A virtual memorial service will be held on Sunday December 6th for the community to be a part of, they are still finalizing a time for that service.
