Tax Specialists are Feeling the Pressure

Jackson, TN. (WNBJ)-

Today marks one week until Tax Day and tax service centers are feeling the pressure of last-minute tax filers. Dixie Fish (Fish’s Bookkeeping Services Owner) says, “this year has been busier than last year.”

Fish’s Bookkeeping Owner Dixie Fish say’s this year has been busy for business. Changes with child tax credits and stimulus checks has made this year’s tax filing season difficult. Dixie Fish (Fish’s Bookkeeping Services Owner) informed us that, “some of the reason’s is because they are not aware of all the benefits they have or the credits they have.”

Using free online tax services can be tricky. Fish says before the filing starts an employee at Fish’s Bookkeeping has a sit down with their clients to ensure they are receiving their full benefits. Dixie Fish (Fish’s Bookkeeping Services Owner) told 39 news, “sometimes they don’t understand when their doing it online, like one of the companies that offers it online free, and usually we can find stuff that they missed.”
