Sponsorship deadline approaching to purchase wreaths for fallen soldiers

JACKSON, TN (WNBJ) - The 2021 sponsorship deadline is quickly approaching to purchase wreaths to honor our fallen servicemen and women.

$15 dollars will sponsor a wreath to be placed in a veterans’ cemetery.

Jackson-Madison's Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is a sponsoring group and wreaths sponsored through their chapter will go to the Tennessee State Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads.

When the sponsorship of wreaths designated to that cemetery has reached their maximum number all other wreaths will be directed to Arlington National Cemetery.

With over 400,000 veterans’ graves at Arlington National Cemetery, there is an annual need for more wreath sponsorships.

Your sponsorship will ensure that veterans will be remembered and honored on December 18, which is Wreaths Across America Day, when wreaths are placed on veterans’ graves across America.
