Representative Kustoff visits new Aspell facility

JACKSON, TENN (WNBJ)-

Congressmen David Kustoff visited Aspell recovery center in Jackson to tour a new mother and baby facility that opened this month.

“A mothers Love” is the facility where women early on in their pregnancy stay at the facility to get off of any drugs or alcohol they are on.

Then after having their baby, they go to the facility for 60-90 days until they make sure that they are going to a stable living environment.

This is the only facility of this kind in the southeast.

Kustoff (R) said seeing the facility for himself is important, "Just like anything else. But by looking, touching, feeling, seeing, hearing, that's how people become more informed and more educated.”

The facility will have a ribbon cutting on June 17th
