New app allows caseless pay for JTA bus rides
JACKSON, TENN (WNBJ)-
The Jackson Transit Authority (JTA) has partnered with Token Transit to provide JTA passengers the ability to purchase bus passes on their mobile devices.
It is as easy as 1-2-3:
1. Get the Token Transit App.
2. Buy Bus Passes.
3. Show your phone to the bus driver.
The app is available through the App Store or Google Play Store.
You can begin downloading the app and using the passes beginning today, May 9, 2022. JTA buses run Monday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM. More information can be found on JTA’s Facebook page, or at JTA’s main office 38 Eutah St. Jackson, TN 38301.
