MSCO announces name of new DNA scent K-9, Hope

MADISON COUNTY, TN (WNBJ) - The Madison County Sheriff Office has announced the name of their new DNA scent K-9 and the winning name is Hope.
The K-9 received its name from the Name Our New K-9 contest.
The person who won the contest and submitted the name has chosen to remain anonymous.
Right now, Hope is continuing her training and will hopefully be back in Madison County in November to start her assignment.
Hope is a part of the Bring the Lost Home program that helps locate those with Alzheimer's, lost children, and missing persons.
Hope was introduced to the public at a press conference back in late August in conjunction with the Alzheimer's Association and the sheriff's department.
