MCSO honors their Training Specialist, Joyce Evans, as she retires after 22 years of service


DENMARK, TN (WNBJ) - Congratulations are in order, the Madison County Sheriff’s Department honored their Training Specialist, Joyce Evans, today.


The department celebrating her retirement from the sheriff’s office after 22 years of service.


Evans was overjoyed by the support from the department and family members, who attended her retirement party.


“It’s surreal right now, but I have enjoyed working here. It’s just that everybody here is like family to me, and I am going to miss them,” said Joyce Evans, the Training Specialist at the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

When needed Evans says she plans to work part-time at the department.


Max Milam will be replacing Evans as the Training Specialist. Milam has over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, working with the Tennessee Highway Patrol and MSCO’s warrants and communication division.
