Made in TN: Mama Baudo's Chow Bella

Jackson, TN. (WNBJ)-

This family-owned business has been in the Madison County community for generations. Now, with a new location they are ready to serve residents the home-made meals they have always loved. Jack Baudo (Mama Baudo’s Chow Bella Owner) stated, “because we’ve been in the business so long, we have customers, new customers now that their parents came and their grandparents came here when they were kids. So, you know we’re probably sending three maybe going on four generations now in the jackson area that have been coming since we opened in 65.”

Jack Baudo has been running his family business since 2012 when his mother passed away. She started the business during a period when it wasn’t very common to see a woman business owner. Jack Baudo (Mama Baudo’s Chow Bella Owner) informed us, “I’m keeping my mom’s legacy alive by continuing to do her recipes”

Jack stated his customers know they are getting quality, because all their food is freshly made each day. Jack Baudo (Mama Baudo’s Chow Bella Owner) stated, “I get here between 6:30 and 7 every morning and do the prepping for the sauces and the dressing; and then my sister Sharen does the desserts.”

Jack proudly represents the legacy and traditions of his family in Mama Baudo’s Chow Bella, and he is thrilled the Madison County community has supported his family’s business throughout the years.
