Local Organization Provides Gifts to Madison County Youth
Jackson, TN. (WNBJ)-
A local organization Phase II Adult Re-Entry Training Camp provided gifts to the youth in the Madison County today. Founder of Phase II Shauntel Mathis-Chapman hosts this event every year to give back to those who may be missing their loved one during the holiday season. Shauntel Mathis-Chapman (Founder Phase II Adult Re-Entry Training Camp) stated, “Phase II always likes to give back to the community. One of our things is we work with those who are incarcerated and those coming out of incarceration. We just try to be a help to those who are incarcerated and look out for their children.”
The Christmas party was full of excitement from conversations with Santa, to sugary sweets that left everyone with a sugar rush. Shauntel Mathis- Chapman (Founder Phase II Adult Re-Entry Training Camp) informed us, “they’re playing music, they have a buffet style of food, sweets, treats, everything you can think of. It’s going down right here.”
In this season of giving many were touch by the generosity of Shauntel and Phase II, especially this hub city resident. “We thank all the children for coming out. We had a great time with all the food and smiles on children’s faces. We had Santa in the house. Everybody helped and everybody pitched in.”
