Local non-profits prepare for 'Giving Tuesday'
JACKSON, TN (WNBJ) - Prepare to give this holiday season. Tuesday, November 30th is Giving Tuesday.
A day set aside to donate money to your local non-profits.
About 50 non-profits like the Salvation Army, the Boys and Girls Club, and the United Way of West Tennessee are trying to raise as much money as they can to help the community.
“This is the time of giving and so we always encourage all of our community members as you get ready to go into Black Friday and Cyber Monday and all those things, don’t forget Giving Tuesday. This is the time we give back to those who have the most need,” said Matthew Marshall, the President, and CEO of the United Way of West Tennessee.
You can give it to the non-profit of your choice for 24 hours on Tuesday, November 30th.
