Local child abuse prevention organization set to host benefit concert in Jackson
JACKSON, TN (WNBJ) - The Gibson County Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse will be hosting a benefit concert Tuesday, November 9th in Jackson.
The benefit concert will be at the Ned R. McWherter West Tennessee Cultural Arts Center also known as the NED at 7:30 p.m.
The director at the Carls Perkins Center tells 39 News who will be performing at the concert.
“Having a CMA and Grammy winner like Billy Dean come to Jackson to west Tennessee is really exciting and we are so glad to have him here. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. So, we want everyone to come out and we are going to have a great time,” said Bett Jewell, the Director at the Gibson Co. Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
General admission is $40 dollars or you can purchase V.I.P meet and greet tickets for $65 dollars. You can get your tickets online by visiting the Tix website.
Tickets can also be purchased on the day of the concert.
All proceeds will help fund programs with the Gibson County Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
