JMC Library starts new upcycling program to teach attendees how to recycle old materials

JACKSON, Tenn. (WNBJ) - The Jackson-Madison County Library has a new ongoing upcycling program each month at the main library.


On the last Tuesday of every month at 4:00 p.m. Shayne Plunk, the Adult Services Manager, at the library and MakerSpace Manager, Kasie Smith will host the program.


They will teach attendees how to reduce, reuse and recycle old materials to create something new.


This month’s upcycling program will be on April 26th and will discuss upcycling clothing.


The Jackson-Madison County Library is located at 433 East Lafayette Street in downtown.
