Jackson Transit Authority launches their 'Bus-Tin Loose' bus pass program
JACKSON, TN (WNBJ) - The Jackson Transit Authority is helping the community let the good times roll this summer with their Bus-Tin Loose bus passes.
The Bus-Tin Loose bus passes allow students the opportunity to ride JTA fixed-route buses for 20 dollars during the months of June, July, and August. The passes give unlimited rides each month for the pass holder.
The bus passes are for the youth ages 18 and under.
The Jackson Transit Authority excited about starting the program up again and being able to provide the youth in the community safe rides to their destinations.
“I think it’s a good opportunity to have the teenage age and younger get out and socialize with their friends and just have a good time. I know it’s been a rough past year so I know it will make them happy to get out and explore,” said Whitney Dickson, the Planning and Grants Manager at JTA.
The Bus-Tin Loose passes can be purchased now at the JTA office on 38 Eutah Street or at the City Hall Recorder’s Office on 101 East Main Street in Jackson.
JTA buses run Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
