Jackson Theatre Guild set to premiere the play, Sister Act, this Thursday
JACKSON, TN (WNBJ) - The Jackson Theatre Guild will be premiering the show, Sister Act, this Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Ned McWherter Cultural Arts Center.
In Sister Act, the main character, Deloris, is a witness to a crime and is placed in a nunnery by police for protection then the adventure begins.
This show is being directed by Billy Worboys.
One of the actors in the play encourages everyone to come out and enjoy a fun night at the Ned.
“If you want to have a really good time, to be dancing and you may even cry at the end. You want to have a really good laugh or hear some really good jokes. You need to come to this show. You are going to have a fabulous time. There are some phenomenal singers, the band, the music. It is amazing,” said Ontoni Reedy, an actor in Sister Act.
There are various times to see the show.
Showtimes will be Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Some other times to catch the show will be Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.
Ticket prices are $24 for adults; $16 for all students; $18 for seniors 65 and older. The matinee showing is only $15 for all tickets.
The Ned is located at 314 East Main Street in downtown Jackson.
