"Jackson Sings the Gospel" returns to Jackson after a year off due to COVID

Jackson sings the gospel has been a tradition in Jackson for over twenty years but last year it had to be canceled due to the pandemic. The biggest names in gospel music take the stage this week at the Carl Perkins civic center.”



if you love gospel music, if you love a family atmosphere with people from all backgrounds, a wholesome Christian environment, this event is just for you...it's got all of the top names in gospel music. People like the Booth Brothers, Karen Peck, and New River, Greater Vision, the Issacs from the Grand Ole Opry will be here tomorrow night. Also, Triumphant Quartet the number one group in gospel music is on Friday night. The Hoppers and Jeff and Sherri Easter a lot of people see them on the Gather homecoming videos. Almost every major is here at some point this week,” says Bill Bailey



The concert series begins tonight and lasts until Saturday night. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the concerts begins at 7 pm. Saturday night beginning at 6 pm. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday there are matinees at 1 pm.

General admission tickets begin at 20$ for a single night and packages for the week begin at 100$. The matinee concerts are free but those in attendance are asked to make a donation. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at the Carl Perkins civics center.
