“it's an event where the whole family came to be outdoors, to enjoy some great outdoor freshness and to fish and do something together as a family.”

The fishing rodeo event is part of the free fishing week for Tennessee. During this week anyone can fish in public waters without a license. Academy sports and outdoors is sponsoring the statewide fishing week and Rick Burleson (Regional Marketing Specialist for Academy) speaks about how great of an opportunity it is for Tennesseans,

it’s a chance for folks that might not regularly get to experience the outdoors or haven’t been exposed to fishing. They get to try it out for free.”

The rodeo is a free event for kids to take advantage of this week and fish with other kids in Jackson
