Jackson International Food and Arts Festival to be held this Saturday
JACKSON, TN (WNBJ)-
The annual Jackson International Food and Arts Festival is back after skipping last year in the peak of the covid-19 pandemic.
The festival begins in downtown Jackson at 10 am on Saturday and lasts until 4 pm. The parade of cultures is set for 11 am.
The rest of the day will be filled with performances, food, and celebration of the many cultures represented in Jackson.
“It’s just like having the world in your own backyard. So this is really a good way to celebrate for all of us that have been cooped up since last year,” says co-chair of the festival Dr. Sandra Dee.
39 news reporters Makayla Davis and Alexander Bitterling will be emcee events from 1 to 4 at the festival
