Jackson Arts Council open applications to receive grant funding

JACKSON, Tenn. (WNBJ) - The Jackson Arts Council has opened applications for the JAC grant funding for art projects in Madison County.
JAC grants provide funds for a variety of art projects.
Funds awarded to a single organization range from $500 to $5,000.
Applications must contain a clear, single-project focus and these grant funds must be matched dollar-for-dollar.
The program is funded by the city of Jackson and contributors to the Jackson Arts Council.
The Jackson Arts Council distributes the funds through a formal grant procedure, with a panel reviewing and ranking the art projects for funding.
The deadline for applications is Friday, April 29th.
