"Jackson 5" finalists announced for the name of new Jackson Prospect league team

After the "Name Your Team Contest" the new prospect league team coming to Jackson is one step closer to having its new name!

After nearly 900 submissions the operators of the Jackson Baseball Stadium, In The Big Inning, LLC, have whittled the submitted names to its Jackson 5 finalists

• The Jackson Locomotives

• The Hub City Heroes

• Th Jackson Blue Suedes

• The Jackson Rockabillies

• The Hub City Hub Caps

The next step in selecting the name that will begin play in the 2023 season is an evaluation period. The announcement of the new team name is expected for mid-to-late May!
