Goodwill set to host job fair in Lexington to assist job seekers in rural areas

JACKSON, TN (WNBJ) - Calling all job seekers! Goodwill will be hosting a job fair tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lexington.

There will be more than 75 positions available, with at least four employers from different industries ranging from food service, retail to manufacturing present at the job fair.

One of the career coaches at Goodwill is eager to assist the people from her hometown to get the jobs they need.

“We service 14 counties for the Jackson area and so the unemployment is so high in so many of the rural counties that we want to help them to obtain employment in those areas as well,” said Christine McCrury, a career coach at Goodwill Career Solutions.

The job fair is free and open to the public.

First Cumberland Presbyterian Church is located at 931 Broad Street North in Lexington.
