Englewood Baptist Church set to give 800 grocery boxes to the community on Thursday
JACKSON, TN (WNBJ)-
Englewood baptist church packed 800 boxes of groceries today to give to the community, with the goal of making Thanksgiving possible for every family.
“This just really gives us an avenue to bless people with thanksgiving. That’s really all that it is, we wanted to reach out and just tell people that we’re still here and that we love and Jesus loves them. And we just felt like around thanksgiving this would be the perfect opportunity to do that,” says Missions Pastor Robin Popplewell.
The boxes contain enough groceries to feed a family of 6 to 8 a thanksgiving dinner complete with turkey, mash potatoes, and more.
The grocery give will be at Englewood baptist church at 10 am on Thursday.
