Dynamix Physical Therapy receives "National Practice of the Year" award
MILAN, TENN (WNBJ)-
Dynamix's Physical Therapy is getting some national recognition for their work. They won practice of the year at this year's Ascend conference
Dynamic Co-Founder and Co-CEO Russ Huffstetler said, "We were elated. I told our team, and I told our peers that it's always nice to get a pat on the back. We have for years told our team that what we're doing is something special and not just something special in our region, but something special and special all throughout the country.”
Huffstetler was excited when Dynamix Physical Therapy brought home the "National Practice of the Year" award from Ascend.
The criteria for the award where financials, clinical growth, and personal and professional growth.
Patients of the practice believe the award was well deserved, “I think they got great people and everyone that we've worked with, from the trainers to the physical therapists have all been, you know, wonderful and treated my family, our athletes with, you know, great care and respect,” said Jonathon West.
West is a high school basketball coach in Dresden but believes the drive to the clinic in Milan is worth it for the care his daughter will receive.
“We drive 45 minutes from Jayce to come, you know, three times a week. And so, you know, we could go somewhere closer, but we chose to come here," he said.
Bobby Carter explains his reaction when he heard that Dynamix won the award, “I was not really surprised because of our experience with their first class. They take a personal interest in, you and they get to know you, they get to know your family, and then they work on your problem.”
But Carter wasn’t always a believer, "I went in there with a strained back and I literally crawled in there and i was so much pain in so much pain, you could hear me all over Milan….I was a skeptic. I really didn't. I just thought it was something that's going to take care of my mom. And they convinced me otherwise as they got worse with me over there, well, at the time was necessary to get me back on my feet, and they fixed me up.”
Now Carter is thankful that Dynamix is in Milan, “We’re just really blessed to have them in our back yard…I just drive four and a half miles to the best in the country”
Dynamix says they were honored to receive the award and they look forward to continuing to serve west Tennessee.
