Community Workshop Scheduled for 8-19
JACKSON, TN (WNBJ)-
Do you have thoughts on sidewalks, bicyclics or greenways? The city of Jackson wants your opinion!
A community workshop to help shape the future of active transportation in Jackson is tonight (8-19) from 4:00 pm to 6:00 p. The meeting will be an open house in the Ben Langford meeting room of city hall
For those that cannot make the meeting, you can go to the website to complete a survey and mark problem areas on a map. All of the ideas will be heard and taken into account
“We’ll provide a way for the community to prioritize all of those projects, obviously there’s a lot to be done so, a lot of infrastructure to desired and build, so we’ll be providing a way for the community to be able to look at these different projects and prioritize them based on a number of factors,” says Liesel Goethert.
The ideas and opinions presented will eventually be organized into a plan that is presented to the city of Jackson
