COMMUNITIES IN TENNESSEE ARE PICKING UP THE PIECES AFTER SEVERE WEATHER
ADAMSVILLE, Tn.- From uprooted trees to roofless homes. Severe storms in Adamsville Tennessee ripped through everything in their paths. People in the community are now trying to pick up the pieces of their homes.. and lives.
Although they did not want to be on camera, 39 News was able to talk to some of the people in the community. One homeowner on Old Union road tells us that he was home when the storm hit. He remembers the loud wind whipping around his home before his roof was destroyed.
A couple from Jackson told us they came to try to help the community where they grew up. Their family owned a paint shop in Hardin county that was ripped apart by the storms.
Organizations and businesses were seen cleaning up and repairing in Hardin and McNairy counties. So far a total of nine people has died as the result of the storms in this part of Tennessee.
