One Humboldt native at the parade was happy to see huge crowds return for the 84th Annual West Tennessee Strawberry Festival Grand Floats Parade.
“I’m glad to see the turnout. I’m glad to see so many people returning back to the parade. This is as large as it’s been in a very long time so I’m really excited,” said Dennis.
Dennis also talks about her favorite part of the parade.
“I was really excited to see my mayor, Mayor Marvin Sikes. He’s amazing. I liked his pink suit; it matched my outfit,” said Dennis.
Another attendee who traveled from Memphis to see the parade explains her favorite parts of the parade.
“We like them all from the bands, dancers, emergency workers. Everyone’s great! We have been coming for the past two years. It’s been a blast. It’s a great day to get out of school and experience a little small-town life,” said
