Baptist and The Jackson Clinic hosts Grand Opening for New Medical Campus

JACKSON, Tn.-The Jackson Clinic-Baptist Outpatient Campus is the first collaboration between The Jackson Clinic and Baptist Memorial Health Care in Jackson. The two medical powerhouses began planning for this project as early as 2019. Today they held the grand opening for their new facility.

“Oh, this has been a long time coming and we're really excited about it. You know, the planning and the building process has been going on for years and today's a wonderful day to get started. And we're moving in next week and start seeing patients and our facilities next week.” said Mark Allen, The Jackson Clinic CEO

William Preston is the president and chairman at the Jackson Clinic and will also perform as the Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeon operating out of the new clinic. He expresses how this facility looks to create positive patient experiences.

“It's the first time we've been able to consolidate so much higher level of care under one roof outside the walls of the hospital. And so when we can work collaboratively with our patients and present them with high-quality, cost-effective care, everybody wins. Hopefully it'll be more efficient and a lot more convenient for patients.” explains William Preston, Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgeon.

Preston explains how this clinic is not only convenient to patients but doctors as well. The facility contains over 130 exam rooms, multiple labs, a pharmacy, and a variety of imaging systems.

“It makes it a whole lot easier to bring together the different aspects of care, whether it's from actually seeing a patient in the clinic to getting their lab work or any kind of preoperative evaluation done all the way down to getting surgery done. And even some of the post-op so we can consolidate that under one roof and makes it much cleaner and more efficient and hopefully higher quality.” said Preston.

The Jackson Clinic-Baptist Outpatient Campus is located on 145/155 Innovation Drive and patients will be able to be serviced starting next week.
