Applications are now being accepted for the Gibson County Adult Leadership class
JACKSON, TN (WNBJ) - The Chamber of Commerce of Greater Gibson County, Humboldt, and Milan are currently taking applications for their 2021 Adult Leadership class.
The Adult Leadership class is open to the public and will give students a better understanding of Gibson County and how it functions.
The leadership program covers several different topics like non-profits, agriculture, tourism, county and state government, and much more.
The executive director at the Humboldt Chamber of Commerce is excited to start the program back up after last year.
“It’s a really strong program to help you get to know Gibson County, get to know what’s going on here, and help you lead your community. Whether that’s from a school or a mayoral position or just working in your company and helping to lead your employees,” said Amanda Love, the Executive Director at the Humboldt Chamber of Commerce.
The application deadline for the Adult Leadership class is Monday, August 2nd.
The classes begin Wednesday, August 25th and graduation will be Tuesday, March 1st of 2022.
The chambers will only be selecting 16 applicants for the program this year due to COVID reasons.
