Ahead of final Presidential Debate, supporters share their thoughts

I am here in Nashville as people prepare for the final presidential debate here at Belmont University. After speaking to a number of voters they are excited to see how this debate plays out.

“I mean I am excited to see what happens. I think it is a great opportunity for both parties to make their final points", says Adeline Eden.

Tennessee and Nashville particularly will be in the national spotlight tonight as millions will be watching the final presidential debate.

President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden are both scheduled to be in attendance and supporters are looking forward to listening to what they have to say.

“I’m feeling nervous because I want trump to do well", says Trump supporter, Cheryl Gingg.

“I want to see trump defeated soundly. I want someone who doesn’t mock masks. I want a good example in the White House", says Biden supporter, Tom Moran.

One topic most supporters brought up was the mute button on the microphones for this debate.

They say the mute button is not an issue as long as each candidate makes their points.

“I don’t really care if they cut him off for 2 minutes, but I do care that they get to chose what we’re talking about. We’re talking about the same things over and over again", adds Gingg.

“I feel better that they will have a mute button, because come on, everybody should have a chance to talk", adds Moran.

We still have a couple of hours until the debate starts, but i can see stricter security moving in as time winds down. Imani Williams, for 39 news, in Nashville.
