Admissions are Still Open for The Fall Semester at U of M
JACKSON, Tn.-Today, 39 News visited the University of Memphis, Lambeth Campus in Jackson, Tennessee, where they say it's not too late to enroll for the fall semester!
“I just want everybody to know that it is not too late to apply for admission. We still have plenty of time to get your admission process before all classes start on Monday, August 28th,” says Adam Johnson, Assistant Director of Recruitment.
According to admissions, they have seen an upward trend in the number of students who have enrolled at U of M Lambuth.
“Enrollment is trending in a great direction, and we would love for you to be a part of it. We have people that can help you through the admissions process. We can get your admission processed very quickly in as little as a week. We also have people that can help you through the financial aid process and potential scholarships are still available,” explains Adam Johnson, Assistant Director of Recruitment.
Johnson tells 39 News that they are excited to be partnering with local high schools, to help students begin receiving dual credit.
“Madison Academic is doing a lot of dual enrollments with us. We're also doing some dual enrollment at Sacred Heart here in Jackson. And if you're a high school student that wants to take dual enrollment through the University of Memphis, we can make that happen for you.”
If you are interested in being a student at U of M Lambuth, campus tours are available throughout the week. The last new student orientation session is on Tuesday, August 8th. U of M will also be hosting their annual Fall ‘Preview Day” on Saturday, September 30th.
