A Winter Wonderland Has Arrived in Humboldt
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. - A winter wonderland has arrived at the Opera House event hall in Humboldt with a special visit from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.
“Well, we had to come down because we’re making that last little look to see if anybody’s on that naughty or nice list, so far everyone’s been really good, so I think we’re going to be in good shape.”
This is the first time this winter wonderland has come to the Opera House event hall.
Opera House owner Chris Tucker says it’s all because of his love for Christmas.
“I’ve always been inspired by Christmas, it’s definitely my favorite holiday. So, I wanted to somehow bring it to Humboldt, and wanted to allow the kids to come have fun, that was my main mission for it.”
Tucker wants to continue bringing this winter wonderland for years to come.
“We just wanted to give the community a chance to come out and have fun. We definitely look forward to having it next year, and to have even more updates in the future.”
Families can enjoy games, hot chocolate and cookies, and Christmas music as well after taking a picture with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
Mrs. Claus shares her Christmas wishes for everyone this Christmas.
“Let me tell you, it’s not about all the gifts under the tree, it’s about the love that’s around the tree. Life is short, have fun, enjoy it to the fullest. And stay on that nice list, Santa will be coming Saturday night.”
You can visit the winter wonderland tomorrow from 12 - 3 PM and tomorrow night from 5 - 8 PM.
