7/21/22

JACKSON, TENN (WNBJ)-

300 4H students from across the state are at UT Martin for the 99th annual 4H round.

The students compete for statewide awards, scholarships and trips to the national 4-H Congress in Atlanta.

This year’s theme is “Shaping the Future Together.

“No matter what your ethnic background is or your religion or even your sexual orientation, there is a place for you and there are people here who love you and want to support you," said Katie Collins (Dixon County) the Rep at Large.

Alex Carpenter (Obion County) the Junior Rep added, “Everyone in the 4h program is just so nice and so encouraging to everybody and it's just it feels like a great big family. And I would encourage anyone, no matter who they are, to try and join our family.”
