Local business asking for donations for middle Tennessee tornado victims


The tornado that ripped through middle tennessee is still affecting the lives of many in that area and west Tennesseans are reaching out to those victims to help.

Jackson Auto Repair, the American Patriot Vanguard Riding Club, and the American Patriot group are teaming up to collect donations to take to middle Tennessee.

They will be collecting donations at Jackson Auto Repair until March 23rd.

They are asking for the community to bring diapers, new sleeping bags, water, non-perishable items and more.

Owner of Jackson Auto Repair, Christian Byler, says, “Community minded. We want to help our community anyway we can as well as doing business here and living here. So, you know at times that means you go a little bit beyond and do for those that are in need.”

Milan Supply chain solutions is donating one of their trailers to load all the items and take them to the victims.

Here is a full list of items needed:

1. WATER INDIVIDUAL SIZED AND GALLON JUGS

2. NON PERISHABLE FOOD (CANS, BOXED)

3. TOILET PAPER, WET WIPES

4. FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS

5. PERSONAL HYGIENE -- TOOTHPASTE, TOOTHBRUSHES, SHAMPOO, SOAP, DISPOSABLE RAZORS,

6. NEW PILLOWS, LINENS, BLANKETS

7. NEW SLEEPING BAGS

8. FLASHLIGHTS

9. BATTERIES

10. DIAPERS, SOAP, BABY FORMULA, BOTTLE LINERS

11. FIRST AID SUPPLIES, WORK GLOVES

12. TARPS
