New food delivery app comes to Hub City
Jackson, TN – A food delivery app that has proven to be wildly popular throughout the South has expanded its service to Jackson. Waitr, the restaurant on-demand platform, debuts this week with the official launch set for Friday, February 15. The Waitr app lets you order from your favorite Jackson restaurant … then sends a Waitr driver to deliver it to you for a flat fee of $5.
Waitr expects to grow quickly in Jackson. To meet anticipated demand, the company plans to hire 100 people in the area. Jackson becomes the second Waitr city in Tennessee following a successful debut in Chattanooga last year. Overall, the service is available in more than 235 cities in 10 states.
