Suspects Arrested and Charged with First Degree Murder in January Homicide

Jackson police have charged Elijah Garrison and Tierra Wilson in the homicide of D’Andre Holmes, 24, of Jackson.

Garrison, 25, and Wilson, 24, both of Jackson, were arrested around 8:30 a.m., today in Knoxville, TN, by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. They are in custody at the Knox County Jail and will soon be transported back to Jackson.

The charges stem from a Jan. 5th shooting outside Magnolia Landing Court Apartments. Jackson police Investigators developed information that Garrison and Wilson were involved, and both have been charged with First Degree Murder. Garrison faces an additional charge of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon.
