United Way Seeks Partner Organizations for Community Impact

January 2nd, 2019, Jackson, Tennessee— United Way of West Tennessee has announced the deadlines for local nonprofits to apply for funding by becoming a Community Impact Partner. Applicants must be 501c3 Health and Human Service Organizations that serve individuals in the 14-county UWWT service area.

To begin the application process, agencies must send a representative to one of United Way’s annual application sessions, to be held this year at the following times:

- Tuesday, January 22nd (9:00am – 11:00 am and 1:00 – 3:00 pm)

- Thursday, January 24th (9:00 am - 11:00 am and 1:00 – 3:00 pm)

- Tuesday, January 29th (1:00 – 3:00 pm)

- Thursday, January 31st (9:00 am - 11:00 am)

All six sessions will be held at United Way’s office at 470 North Parkway in Jackson. At these times, representatives and staff members will discuss the online application format, the application process, and what decision makers (community volunteers) will look for in an application.

It is important that the agency representative attending be the person(s) responsible for filling out the application. Representatives must attend an entire session to receive an application.
