Jackson, TN, —Belk department store will host “Gifts for the Home” a drive for much-needed household items for Tennessee Children’s Home.
The items may be purchased at the local Belk store, or may be purchased elsewhere and dropped off at Belk. Belk Store manager, Tammy Tomberlin, said, “this is a great way for Belk to give back to charities like Tennessee Children’s Home.” The event will run during the month of November. Items needed include twin sheets and blankets, pots and pans, towels, washcloths, dishes, silverware, cooking needs
Tennessee Children’s Home-West serves young men ages 13-18 here in West Tennessee helping them with troubles they face in their lives. We teach them through strong Christian values, education, and peer mentoring. We offer addiction counseling, anger management counseling, and family therapy along with many other services. Tennessee Children’s Home has four campuses across the state and offers a wide variety of services for young people.
