Toyota announces expansion
Toyota Boshoku announced today it will be adding over 100 jobs to the jackson plant. Toyota will invest 31 million dollars into the facility which will generate 139 new jobs.
With this expansion, Toyota Boshoku will also add 143-thousand additional square-feet to its current facility, and the company will consolidate its welding operations and add new equipment to the factory.
The announcement was a few months in the making for the city of jackson.
